SAN FRANCISCO GIANTS!!!!

CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR  SAN FRANCISCO GIANTS FOR WINNING THE WORLD SERIES, 50 YEARS IN THE MAKING!! Since May, I have graduated from Academy of Art University with my bachelor of fine arts in Fashion Merchandising.  I had many interviews but it has been a struggle to get a job in my career.  As what I always say,”Dust myself and try again.” I know something will be out there for me, but for now as I said in my previous blog, I will focus on my side projects like screen printing, sketching fashion croquis, blogging and things related to FASHION.  I will start blogging regularly next week November  8, 2o1o.  Wait for it…wait for it…..

NY FASHION WEEK: AAU Graduate Hyo Sun (Nicky)

Rock n Roll never dies: Out of the six AAU graduates women’s  wear designers showing their collection NY Fashion Week , Hyo Sun (Nicky) An caught my attention considering the off set shoulders and the knitted mini dress with spaghetti strings flowing and maybe inspired by Balmain!

Loops and Stiffness: Knits, jersey mini dresses with strings looping and flowing down each outfit.  The movement of the jersey and the strings of fabric is ROCK CHIC!

NUDES n GRAYS: Very normal DARK colors for the fall season but I would love to see a hint of color in her collection.

Balmain Inspired: Nicky’s collection was very rock n roll chic!  Instead of using metal chains it was strings of fabrics that were looped and strings flowing down the outfits.  It was excellent style element to the outfits because it brought the toughness but an elegant factor of her collection.

The color story very bland, I would just added a touch of color to the collection. Also, the collection could also popped with bright colored ankle boots!!

For Nicky, she is taking the right turn into something successful!  I can see her collection in boutiques and upscale department stores!
